Empowering Youth of All Ages to Become Self-Sufficient Adults
Youths aging out of foster care face a disproportionate risk of experiencing homeless during their transition to independent adulthood. We provide youth of all ages with the tools and resources needed to become productive adults after experiencing homelessness, neglect, or abandonment.
We are passionate about providing these young people with the resources that they need to thrive physically, mentally, and educationally. We aim to bridge the gap between foster care and independent living by supporting children of all ages, including young people who are aging out of foster care and need assistance with transitioning to adulthood.
A Letter From Our Founder
My childhood wasn’t easy. I had a very tough upbringing after losing my mother when I was ten months old, and my father at the tender age of seven. We were a family of six children total, and all of my siblings were placed in orphanages except for myself. I was raised by my grandparents, then by my aunts, and then my stepmother. Unfortunately, I don’t remember my mother. Every time anyone spoke about my mother my eyes would shine and be filled with tears. I’ve always viewed the motherly figures in my life as my own. I had no foundation as a daughter and nor as a woman, but I did know that one day I would help orphans from all over the world because I knew what it felt like to be a child without a father and a mother.
After many years of my own efforts to support children in need, I met a kind-hearted man who was full of integrity. As we explored our lives, dreams and accomplishments, we discovered our shared passion for helping orphans. He understood my drive to help orphans on a bigger scale – not only in one country, but worldwide. He believed in my vision and together we opened a nonprofit organization, Jasmen’s Love for Orphans. This gentleman is now my husband and he’s helping me, along with our board members, on this beautiful journey to support orphans around the world. My dream has become a reality! Through this organization, we will continue to help those pure souls in need of shelter, clothing, food, education, and most of all care, affection, and love.
All these years I’ve learned that if you truly believe in the value of life, you care about all of the weakest and most vulnerable members of society. The value of LIFE is not in its duration but in its Donation.

Over 25 Years of Supporting Worldwide Children in Need
Jasmen’s Love for Orphans was initially founded in an effort to support orphaned children in Armenia. After growing up as an orphan in Armenia, our Founder eventually relocated to America. Jasmen Nevrous maintained valuable connections in Armenia, and expressed her concerns for Armenian children who grew up with circumstances similar to her own. Learning about the needs of orphaned children in Armenia motivated Jasmen to support them by donating clothing, shoes, and school supplies to an orphanage in Armenia, serving 65 children ages 2 to 17 years old. Jasmen became a trusted form of support for the orphanage, utilizing her resources to donate at least four times per year for over 25 years. Seeing the impact of this continuous support inspired Jasmen to expand her generosity to youth experiencing homelessness around the world. The non-profit organization Jasmen’s Love for Orphans was later formed by Jasmen Nevrous and her husband, who share a passion for helping children in need.
